Delivery Policy

For website items only, delivery is free of charge for orders over £100 and £19 admin fee will be charged for orders below £100. Thermal Protection and Controls Ltd offers a next day delivery service for orders placed before 13:00 Monday – Friday on standard service to all mainland UK.

Return Policy

At Thermal Protection and Controls Ltd, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We strive to ensure that you are delighted with our high-quality products. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our refund and return policy below.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Products must be returned within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.
  • To be eligible for a return, items must be:
    • Unopened and in their original condition.
    • In the original packaging with seals intact.
    • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for the following:

  • Products that have been opened, damaged, or tampered with.
  • Items purchased on clearance or as part of a final sale.
  • Gift cards and promotional items.

3. Refund Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect or defective product received).
  • Items ordered incorrectly or that are surplus to requirements may be subject to a 20% restocking charge and will only be accepted within the first months of sale and are still in the original packaging.
  • Returning of non-stock item(s) which are surplus to requirements and/or have been incorrectly specified by the customer and have been purchased and manufactured as per the customers request and/or specification are not subject to our standard terms and conditions for warranty return and will be rejected.

    N.B. No credit will be issued to any surplus items that are received damaged. The customer has a 3 day window to report items that have been received damaged, failure to do so will result in your returns claim being rejected. All deliveries and returns are subject to our standard Terms & Conditions of sale

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, please contact us at sales@thermalswitchuk.co.uk

5. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

6. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return or exchange, please:

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

    Damages and issues
    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


    Exceptions / non-returnable items
    Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


    Exchanges
    The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


    European Union 14 day cooling off period
    Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


    Refunds
    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
